Summary
Ashton would love every fucking alpha in Jrusar to take a long walk off a fucking cliff.
Orym just knows it's not right that Dorian has to be so careful walking down the street at night.
("There you go, sweetheart, keep breathing for me.”
Ashton doesn’t think he could stop breathing that in if he tried.) -

Summary
Ashton has to speak up to be heard over the mystery music. “I am missing something.”
Orym turns at last, grinning. “Well, it’s the 10th of Duscar.”
“…yes.”
(Ashton wishes for everything. For this, on and on, and on and on and on. For warmth and pretty lights and wine and laughter and song and these fucking people. For someone pressed against him who looks at him like he belongs in this simple, mad happiness, like he fits in the shape of these perfect, warm things. Who believes it.)

Summary
Orym has nothing to say.
It’s very loud (no one’s talking).
The cavern glows faintly green, and the roots reach down from the sky, and Orym has a thousand thousand things to say and no voice, and no mouth, and no body, and no—
—nothing to say.

Summary
Ashton's literally coughing up flower petals.
He's not into denial.
(Ashton thinks about that. “You…want to be near me?”
Orym laughs, barely a breath. “You have no idea.”) -

Summary
Bor'Dor’s taller than Will and narrower, sure, and maybe they don't objectively look all that alike, but he leans back in the tree and he has, just—just a strikingly familiar silhouette in the darkness. There’s something about his—something. This isn’t a healthy line of thought. Then, Orym’s not sure there’s many of those left now.
(In the dark, the ancient Gau Drashari druid in her pillar is a glow of green, thrumming with the magic that Keyleth should have shone out into the world, still, for another thousand years.
In the dark, Will is so close, waiting just beyond the veil.)

Summary
Orym shakes his head. “I believe that Fearne thinks we’re safe. But she’s…not clear-sighted about this place. About Morrigan.”
( This is Fearne’s home, and Orym loves Fearne, and Fearne didn’t really make those awful transfigured horrors in the garden. Fearne wouldn’t actually think of siding with the people who took everything from Orym, and nor would Imogen or Laudna or Letters. Orym’s almost certain. He’s sure. Mostly.)
---
In which the first half of ep 46 was a lot for Orym (threats everywhere! None of which he can fight! Now let's all play devil's advocate on whether the shadow assassins might be right about everything...), and Ashton is his rock (I apologise for nothing, or at least not for puns).

Summary
"You looked like you got banged around a bit, climbing mega-Chet like a fucking tree.”
“He didn’t get me that bad.”
“You can climb me like a fucking tree anytime.”
---
(In which Orym tries to sort out his head after the end of ep 41, by talking at Ashton about it)

⎡I do not ‘whine’.⎦ Charles grits his teeth again, this time on a low moan that he manages not to voice. ⎡God that’s good.⎦
⎡Mm.⎦
⎡We're surrounded by students, Erik.⎦
⎡Jean’s asleep, isn’t she?⎦ Another very tiny smirk. ⎡But it’s your telepathy, Charles, not mine. If you don’t want to feel it, then don’t.⎦

Summary
Erik’s arm is still pressed very awkwardly down the back of Charles’s chair, Erik bent slightly sideways to make up the height. “You’re avoiding the point. I’m not good for you, Charles.”
“Oh, I don’t know, old friend. I suspect you make me better by contrast. I have to keep hoping, just to irritate you.”

A missing scene of sorts from near the end of Apocalypse.

Summary
There’s a not-funeral in the hideout, snow mounting on the tiny fingertip rims of the windows, two weeks after he’s pulled from the lake. Kenya decides, and invites everyone, including Satoru’s mum, which is the only reason Kayo’s allowed to go. Outside, when Fujinuma-san’s talking to Kenya, Hiromi says, “It was gonna be us.”

Summary
[DoFP Spoilers inside :)]
Sometimes, they are so angry at one another that Charles struggles to keep his fury contained and Erik knows the world is as cruel as it has ever been.
That is the flow of the river perhaps, the pull of the tide, whichever way go the ripples; or perhaps something simpler, a byproduct of the the tiny clotting fears that accumulate in the cracks and then on the skin of the world.
Sometimes, they still can't leave each other behind.
(i.e. Charles and Erik catch up on the years before Erik went to prison, then make up for lost time)

Summary
Erik is at war. He knows what humanity does to those who are different, and he will not see it happen again. But Charles...Charles won’t help him. Charles seems intent on fighting him. Charles has to be stopped, and stopping him is simple enough. He’ll understand, in time. That this is the only way to make him safe, to make them all safe. Even locked in a Peruvian safehouse, though, Charles knows that peace is the only answer.

Summary
His hands are dry and cold and when he can breathe again, he's in his armchair, and nothing, nothing is sane anymore.
Richard Brook is the lie, not Sherlock Holmes, and if John has to rip the world apart to prove it, then his laptop is as good a place to start as any.
