The scenario this time around was too close to a horror movie for Izuku's liking. They were all staying at one of Shouto’s places. Not necessarily out in the middle of nowhere, but the hillside house was definitely out of hearing range from the rest of the neighborhood. So, a bunch of college students with the house to themselves wanting to mess around with satanic shit? Izuku hated that.

Izuku doesn't want to participate in "contacting the spirits" and decides to entertain himself alone in his room. Opening the door to the supernatural invites anything, and Dabi decides Izuku needs some company.
