Summary
Tally had known from the very moment she met her, that Sarah was different.
It was in the way she moved, the gracefulness and strength she possessed that seemed almost inhuman. The near electric way Tally’s body would hum whenever Sarah touched her, kissed her, loved her. The way every inch of her skin was smooth, and unblemished, not a single scar or imperfection to be found.
The more Tally noticed, the more it began to nag at her mind. Unable to help herself, she questioned Sarah about it one evening. Questioned why she never ate, why she never slept. Why she seemed different compared to everyone else that Tally knew.
Sarah took her outside, into the quiet dark of the night, and showed her the truth. Showed her what it was that made her different from everyone else– because Sarah was not like everyone else.
