Nor has she seen or spoken with her ex-best friend Eloise Bridgerton, after Eloise discovered her biggest secret - that she is the mysterious scandal sheet writer, Lady Whistledown!
Penelope tries to move forward after a miserable off-season. Realising she has to rely on herself to enact the change she wants to see in her life, she can't wait for happiness to find her.
