The evening he returned from one of the most terrible days he ever experienced, the house was in chaos. Things levitated in the air, his parents rushing from one room to the other. His sister looked plentifully exhausted with red rimmed eyes and sat quietly on the sofa. It was very unexpected for a Friday evening.
Sunoo couldn’t even wrap his head around the situation because by nightfall they already left the house, their neighbourhood and their town.
During the drive at the tender age of 12, Sunoo finally understood why the difference between himself and his family from the world was bad. Because no one wanted to accept their normal.
And that realization broke something inside of him.
