Summary
Of all the people you met in NRC it was lucky that you were able to grow so close to Idia. So many things could and did go wrong being in a world not your own but with Idia and Ortho you knew you were safe.
They would never let anything bad happen to you.

“So, if you could, you’d pick a different occupation?” Another question slipped past his mentor's lips.
“I mean, I guess? I don’t know what else I’m good at…” Aiden scowled at his cup. “But unlike some lucky bastard I know, I won’t get a choice,” He explained further, chuckling a little when Llewelyn lightheartedly huffed.
It was then that vertigo hit him, his stomach doing several flips as he lost all sense of direction. He heard something shatter on the stone tiles. He went to look but his body wouldn’t respond to him. As he began to fall over, the realization dawned on him that he couldn’t feel his hands, let alone the rest of his body.

That was… until Emmerich showed up again, a small pot of soup in hand, as well as other fruits one would normally have trouble buying. Liam couldn’t help the gasp that left his lips as he stared in awe. Admittedly his stomach made a very loud grumble that gave away a weakness of his, leaving him to flush a little in embarrassment.
“Are you sure?” He asked as the man passed him the stew. The guy looked funny sitting on Liam’s little bed, clearly too tall to stand upright in the small space.
