A few months after the war ended, UA held a funeral for their fallen student Katsuki Bakugou. He had lost his life in the war trying to defeat Tomura Shigaraki, of course many people were affected by this, losing someone so young in their lifes would very obviously affect them but no one realised how much it would affect Izuku Midoriya.

Summary
This story follows Izuku Midoriya during his middle school years, where he is secretly obsessed with his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo. Izuku, quirkless and largely disliked by his peers, silently watches Katsuki from a distance, convinced that he is the only one who truly understands him. Despite his growing possessiveness, Izuku keeps his feelings hidden, never telling Katsuki directly. As the two make their way to UA, Izuku’s obsession continues, manifesting in subtle ways—his unspoken need to be near Katsuki, his constant surveillance, and his belief that one day, Katsuki will realize he needs him.
Katsuki, initially unaware of Izuku’s obsession, begins to notice the strange behavior. However, instead of confronting Izuku, Katsuki chooses to ignore it, dismissing it as just another of Izuku’s quirks. While Izuku remains hopeful that his devotion will eventually be understood, Katsuki’s silence slowly becomes a strange form of acceptance, even becoming fond of the idea of Izuku being so obsessed with him.
