Summary
ABANDONED, TO BE REWRITTEN
The year is 271 AC and all is well. Aerys the second sits on the Iron Throne and though he is acclaimed by many, more whisper that Tywin Lannister, the Hand of the King, is the true ruler of the realm.
This situation make the Lords Paramount see what could be an opportunity to further their causes, to strengthen their power and perhaps even, at term, sit on the Iron Throne.
To that end Rickard Stark, wanting to reestablish the Stark to their height, decides to cautiously engage in southron politics and send his second son to foster with Jon Arryn, the lord paramount of the Vale.
In response, the southern lords are cautious if unconcerned over this unprecedented change, believing it that it will be a short lived venture except the more wary or the more grasping.
Among them is Lord Eldon Estermont, good-brother of lord paramount Steffon Baratheon, who upon learning the news decided to send Ormund, his grandson, to foster at Winterfell.
As for Ormund, his head is full of dreams and he worries if he'd be able to explore the world, to go all the way to Yi Ti and back, as well as if he should, instead, work to change how the Seven Kingdoms themselves are ruled.

Summary
In a world obsessed with killing and dying, Seiko is mostly concerned with chasing off her boredom. The Academy wasn’t exactly intellectually stimulating, but dying in the second shinobi war sounded like a long walk off a short pier. Everyone is always so stressed about avoiding attention, or min-maxing skills in situations like this.
Seiko is of the opinion that those people need to chill the hell out. Maybe play a little shogi. Death comes for them all anyways. Better to enjoy this all while it lasts.

Darth Vader is a cataclysmic event, and Cal, delirious with pain, scrambles to catch the hilt of his saber as he begins to drag it out their corpses – and that’s what he and Cere are, corpses, with only a last few seconds of misfiring neurons left in them, no matter how much BD-1 trills and punches stim after stim into his arm – they are tipping past that point of no return now, and Cal needs to do something right now before it’s too late for – for what?
