    1957. A decade after the War, Sandor Clegane teaches history at an all-boys boarding school in the North. When the new music mistress arrives, everything changes. She's beautiful but reserved, lovely but haunted - like the rest of the staff at the school, who all have their own pasts to deal with. Especially Clegane.

    High school trope x historical AU = something set in Westeros but with roots in post-WWII Britain. Historically, this was a time of huge change, with the fall of the aristocracy and the rise of the working and middle classes. Because I just can't write a trope. Because I have to get some social bloody commentary into it, don't I?
