It had been 1 week since Carter had taken the throne as the Pharaoh and it had been strange, to say the least, a good example of this was how formally Zia had been with him it was like she was terrified that he was going to have her killed or something come to think of it he probably could have her killed that thought alone made him want to cry the thought that Zia was this scared of him was ridiculous they were 15 years old and he also hated seeing the fear in her eyes every time she spoke to him, so he had decided to summon Zia to his new royal chambers personally Carter through they were crazy big like how was he meant to use 7 rooms by himself.

Fine.
Zeus wants to ignore the problem that is father returning. There's not much else he can do on that on a bigger scale.
But that doesn't mean Poseidon will just stand by and do nothing. When his sons life is threatened in his eyes by the lack of action against Kronos. And finding out who the true thief was.
OR
Poseidon decides he isn't going to just stay back and let Chiron take care of things in the aftermath of Percy being attacked by a pit scorpion. And that leads to consequences that maybe even he never expected.

Summary
Having to deal with the consequences of a goddesses actions against a child of the sea. Had been bad the first time for all of them. And Triton hadn't wished it on anyone else.
To have it happen almost a second time through one of her children. Was proving to be just as painful as the first.
Even if this time it was his half brother instead of his child.
Or
When the consequences from the Capture the Flag game are more severe because Percy does nearly die against the Ares cabin. It brings back some bad memories for his Dad's side of the family due to Annabeth's involvement. And as a result ends up gaining a very (in Percy's opinion.) overprotective immortal family in the process.
