Summary
Emotions weren't new to Shigeo Kageyama, he's always felt them no matter how hard he pretended they didn't exist. Ever since the incident with his out-of-control powers and accepting himself, he had to come face to face with feelings he had once ignored, unable to put a name to them. The thing about learning to accept your emotions again is finding out you have to accept that some of them aren't always going to be strictly good ones. A lesson everyone has to learn one day.

Summary
Shigeo Kageyama hasn't used his powers willingly since the incident that happened with his brother Ritsu. But once he realized the spirit that had been hiding in an alley near his school, was tormenting a local stray, he no longer has a choice.
Alternatively - Mob meets Reigen four years later than in canon, but instead of being a conman, Reigen is a stray cat that had been abandoned and left to fend for himself on the streets. But not for very long!
