Peter gratefully accepts the ice pack from Mr. Stark and presses it against his bruised and blacked eye. A sigh of relief slips through his lips, and he slumps deeper into the leather couch that lives against the far back wall of Mr. Stark's lab.
“So,” Mr. Stark slips into the other end of the couch. One leg resting on the other, foot fidgeting, the older man was restless as he often was. “Are you going to tell me what happened, or should we skip the point where you argue you’ve got it handled and go straight to Friday, pulling up the baby monitor recordings?”
Peter groans loudly into his ice pack.
