Rin is drowning.
Sae, his parents, the expectations and desperation he imposed on himself to be the very best and finally prove himself to be worth something, anything, was really starting to take its toll… and it seemed that the U-20 match had been the final crack in Rin’s already sinking boat; in the only thing keeping him afloat and safe from the tumulus waves of emotions crashing around in his own mind like a never ending storm which had only one purpose: to drown him for good.
Day by day, each cold, dismissive glance, each sharp, biting word from what-used-to-be his older brother’s unloving, uncaring mouth continued to chip and crack away at Rin’s mind; at that metaphorical boat that kept him from falling into the cold, unforgiving ocean that threatens to swallow him up into its icy, murky depths for all of eternity… and at some point, that prospect stopped seeming so scary.
Or:
Rin is drowning in the darkness of his own mind, and when Sae comes to visit with seemingly the only purpose of tormenting him further, will Rin be able to fight against the pull of the tides, or will he open his arms and accept its call willingly… letting it steal away his last breath?

Nico is my favorite character, and I wanted to read a fic where he goes to hogwarts! But they are all either too short, no angst, or not a series ! So I decided to solve this problem.
I’m also sorry if I don’t post on schedule. (My plan is like 3 chp per week) and/or My story sucks, I wrote this to (also) cope with my own disorders and issues, so I’m not in a good mental state right now :)

“Hey, Reo.”
“Hm?”
“I think I’m in love with you.”
Reo stills. Slowly, he turns to face Nagi, his hand still loosely wrapped around the pencil he was using to take notes.
“...what?”
“I think I’m in love with you,” Nagi repeats.
It can’t be the first confession Reo’s heard before. Maybe the first confession from a boy, though.
Reo makes a strange noise. His expression contorts a few times, before landing on bewilderment. He puts his pencil down. Nagi glances away.
“You’re… you’re in…” Reo trails off. Nagi stares at his own hands. “Nagi, where’s—where’s this coming from?”
Nagi does a half-shrug with one shoulder without looking up. “Dunno.”
He coughs.

Summary
Nagi hears that there's a Reo Fan Club and takes it upon herself to join and prove that she's the REAL number one Reo fan. It doesn't take much convincing (because that's just how good she is) and she is immediately accepted among the ranks.
Reo meanwhile, feels a twist of emotions when Nagi seems to have friends. Friends unrelated to soccer. Friends that seem to like her. Friends that she doesn't want Reo to interact with. Not to mention that Nagi actually attends an actual club sometimes? Okay...
(some references to characters and bits from Hakuho High's One & Only Reo Fan Club!, but you don't need to read that to read this!)
