    Summary

Wednesday hadn’t lied when she said she was allergic to color.

Although it wasn’t the sight of color, it was mainly the ingredients that would create the dyes in nearly everything, fabrics particularly. Enid’s synthetic dye sweaters were enough to give Wednesday a small itch and an uncomfortable tightness in her chest with each time the taller girl even brushed against her bare skin. She could tolerate such for the girl.

However, that was nothing compared to a pack of werewolves dumping a bucket of bright yellow paint over her head.

    //

Wednesday’s friends find out the hard way that there is a reason why Wednesday prefers the color black.

“Well, what you need is somebody who’s extremely lovable.”

Beatrice scoffs. “Yeah? And who’s going to agree–”

“You know who.” Camila raises both of her eyebrows in smug anticipation.

“No,” Beatrice says firmly. “No. I am not asking Ava to fake-date me.”

    OR:

Beatrice panics and tells her mother that she has a girlfriend when she does not. The solution?

Ava pretends to be her girlfriend for a week.

    Summary

Beatrice finds herself musing not over duty and sacrifice and God, but the truth of angels, if they can be created rather than summoned. If they can take the form of women with overeager mouths and careless limbs and eyes with a depth that beckons - a crooked finger, a spiral staircase - if they can be both human and not, both beautiful and terrifying.

Ava asks, What do you want, Beatrice?

(Tell me and I’ll give it to you. Tell me and I’ll build you a home there. Tell me and I’ll rearrange the universe to make it all fit, angels and demons be damned. Tell me it’s me. Me. Me.)

    Summary

Yes, Ava likes girls (and boys). Yes, she has no trouble acknowledging when a girl is pretty, or hot, or both. Yes, horny is one of her few default mindsets. But to be fair, she’s twenty-two and very new at this. Girls, boys, romance, sex. Life. So what if she chose her personal trainer because she let out a loud “hot damn!” when she saw her picture online, along with all the martial arts she has mastered? What if she let instinct choose rather than reason? Who hasn’t? So, yeah. Let her have this, okay? Plus, she’s just looking. Discreetly. She thinks. And Beatrice does seem like she’s a great trainer, considering all the reviews Ava read about her.

    Summary

Its Graduation day for Enid and Wednesday and the pair want to celebrate with dinner with both of their families together.
Esther Sinclair, however, decidedly does not want that.
And so she and Enid finally have a conversation that Enid has been dreading for months now.
Namely that her relationship with Wednesday is not "just a phase".

This work takes place in the same universe as the previous two works in the series, however they do NOT need to be read in any specific order to be fully enjoyed.
