"Of course." Vash never had his doubts.
"Then," he gulped, before seemingly choking his words out. "Always tell me beforehand if you want to elongate your hair."
"Of course," Vash said again, his smile slowly coming into life.
Vash didn't think much of it.
And it came back haunting him later on.
Vash can bear being the only one who remembered, even if it tears him inside out.
It's a different story when the signs begin to show.

The exhaustion slowly started setting in, his shoulders dropping and his foot steps becoming sluggish. Like a corpse, he dragged himself into his bedroom, peeling the slightly sweaty tank-top off his body before resting on top of the sheets. It was too warm in his room for blankets but he was too lazy to open a window, so he simply curled up on his side and let his eyes fall closed.
Maybe he'd actually sleep if he was a little tipsy.

Vash and Wolfwood broke up, and Vash can't seem to move on. He comes to find that Wolfwood has been struggling too.

When he comes back after all this time, he thinks he'll be over him.
