He forms an unlikely fellowship with a wise orangutan and an intelligent human girl, discovering that the bond between them may be the only thing that can challenge a tyrant's reign.
Or basically my retelling of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes because I crave more moments with Noa, Mae, and Raka—they're my favorites! It's also a self-indulgent fic to really explore the beautiful chemistry between Noa and Mae.

Their paths constantly cross and they somehow watch each other's backs. The reader proves herself trustworthy and honest to Caesar and others many times. Over time, Caesar continues to form a strong bond with the reader. Based on trust and understanding."
