  Summary

  After Rung sacrifices himself to save the universe at the end of the Lost Light, he finds himself in a dark universe ruled by Unicron. However, Unicron's Heralds have a plan to change their fate, even if it means dooming another version of themselves.

  Rung isn't sure what's going on, only that these mechs clearly need someone to help them. And Rung has always tried his best to reach out to those in need.
