    After the Abyss, after being raised as a child soldier, trained to kill, and honed like a deadly weapon, taking care of something as superfluous as a heart was, after all, an utter waste of time for Tartaglia.

    (Sometimes Zhongli wondered if Childe's hold onto relative sanity wasn't a miracle born out of love for his little siblings.)
