Regulus freezes, eyes narrowing.
He knows that he’s getting played. It’s obvious. He has a massive ego, and Evan’s aiming straight for it.
He flicks his stare over, tone bland as he drawls.
“I don’t need to try and win him over.”
Evan tilts his head, sharp glint in his eye. “Are you sure? I bet that you can’t get James Potter to fall in love with you before the end of the year.”
Regulus is an idiot. He is shackled to his pride, and stupidly fucking competitive.
He holds out a hand for Evan to shake.
“It’s on.”
This is going to end terribly.
