But the boy’s plans to just relax that time away quickly shatter, a giant monster attacking the village while they are gone, Al fighting to defend its people but susains heavy injuries in the process.
Will his family manage to nurse him back to full health, and what old wound carried along from his first life will be healed along the way?____________
Well, considering how nonexistent this fandom is, I would be surprised if this will be found by even two people. Anyway, I somehow feel that while Al really cares for his family, he seems to be a bit unaware of how much they care for him, so I wanted to make a short story of him realizing that, and it just kind of went out of control from there.

Wave changed a lot about Team 7, but not enough to make them entirely functional. Also someone should have really reminded Kakashi to pay attention to that tiny part of his genius brain that recognises random patterns, before he called a rest stop on the way home on top of an old, decayed Uzushio travel seal with an over-chakra-charged Uzumaki.
And he thought the month of the Wave mission was long, now he's stuck with the team, in a place he never expected to have anything to do with, with no way back.
Maybe he should have paid more attention to history, or stayed in the academy long enough to have history classes.Series

He can see ghosts, which means he still has family. Still has Shisui, and all the aunts and uncles and cousins and distant relatives he didn’t even know before. Still has mother, her kind smile and her knowledge. Still has father, as well, although Fugaku stays distant most days, wallowing in regrets and things that make the air around him terribly cold.
Sasuke is glad, selfishly, for that small mercy.
He could have lived without the ghost drama, though....
Or: the one where Sasuke can see ghosts, and things aren't as bad as they could be.
