Summary
This is mainly the spoutings of a discontented fan that was very much a shipper for these two until everything went iffy after the cultural festival arc and I ended up shipping TodoDeku and later BakuDeku and found out the latter was more in line with my other preferred ships in fandoms but more than that we were seriously queer baited badly to the point that it genuinely felt like BakuDeku was going to be endgame.
The man gave his life up and gave Izuku the very thing he needed to go back to being a hero. Like... How the fuck was Uraraka supposed to top that?! So of course a lot of fans were inclined to believe that Bakugo went the extra mile that would be considered part of a romantic plotline and all those interactions she had with Toga? Like... What was the damn point then?!
So to get my frustrations out I'm going to make a bullet list of how the Izuocha ship should have gone as I a romance writer just cannot stomach of how poorly this relationship went down. While also providing some additional notes of how I ended up becoming a BakuDeku shipper in the process.
