Summary

At first, they did nothing. Hollow and empty, the thought of ending it all was ever-present. It would be so easy—just a step and it would all be over. The pain, the suffering, the noise.
But they weren’t alone. Not really.
They were only one part of the chorus, and while they may have been the one in control, the others had their own opinions. And death? Death wasn’t on the itinerary.
So, if they were stuck on this mortal coil a little longer, they might as well make the best of it. Maybe learn what it meant to live, to laugh, and even—to love.
Though, it would probably help if they stopped talking to the voices out loud. People kept staring at them like they were crazy.
Not that they were wrong. But it was terribly inconvenient.
