Summary
During the Old Republic, Anakin Skywalker known as the Chosen One, was a legendary fighter that helped beat back the Sith and lead the galaxy to peace. Believing the Sith were now extinct, the Jedi council convinced him to preserve himself for later generations. He was secretly frozen in carbonite and hidden away to be awoken if needed at a later date. His former padawan who was also his wife, learned of the plot and hatched her own to make sure the next time he was awoken, she’d be brought back too.
1000 years later, the Sith have returned in full force, stronger than ever and the Clone Wars are in full effect. On the verge of collapse, the Chancellor of the Republic begs the Jedi order to awaken their secret weapon. Not knowing he’s hoping to use the Chosen One against them, they begin searching for him. But all knowledge of his location seems to have been lost and their only hope of finding him lies with Ahsoka. Now that the powerhouse couple has been woken and reunited, will they be enough to stop the threat and save the galaxy one more time? Or will the modern Jedi’s disapproval of their relationship and their methods throw the galaxy into even deeper darkness?

I was trying to avoid writing anything that directly relates to the new season until it was out everywhere completely, but the latest episode gave me major feels, so if you haven't seen the two available with Ahsoka yet, this one shot contains some spoilers. You've been warned!
Instead of letting the feeling pass, Anakin orders the ship to be captured and searched. In so doing, he's reunited with his former padawan and they're both forced to face their emotions regarding her departure from the Jedi order three months earlier. Those feelings lead them down a path neither were quite prepared for and now the future is far more uncertain than it already was. Can their trust and respect for each other save them from the coming storm, or will things continue to fall apart?
Also trying the frequent POV shifting again, hopefully it's easy to follow.
Not a long one, but I needed to get my own feels out. Enjoy!

After Count Dooku botches an attempt to trap Anakin per his master’s orders and kills Senator Amidala instead, Ahsoka is left to pick up the pieces as her own master deals with the blow of losing his wife. He starts down a very dangerous path, dragging them all with him as he becomes engulfed in darkness. Ultimately, Ahsoka will have to make the choice to save him or let him go, but her hope that she’ll bring him back is fading fast.
I don’t intend for this story to be very long, or as long as my others, but it will be a bit darker (not just dark side but dark themes of life) than most. It will deal with some of Anakin’s more abusive, manipulative and violent tendencies. But I’d wanted to know what would happen if Padmé had been killed at some point during the Clone Wars and how that might change things between Anakin and Ahsoka. Would they drift together or fall apart?
Also, it’s been temporarily consuming all my attention at the moment, so my other stories might be on hold until I finish it. But since it seems to be flowing constantly right now, I’m hoping that won’t take very long.
