  1. Summary

    So...
Tony was in the car when HYDRA killed his parents.
He wasn’t the only kid to lose his parents either.
In fact, this was only one in a series of missions conducted by HYDRA over the course of roughly two years wherein entrepreneur families along with families known to pass down power where slaughtered instantaneously with all the bodies found except for the children set to be heir.

Fast forward 20ish years and these “children” are popping back up to reclaim their fortune and no ones knows what happened. Everyone knows there’s foul play somewhere but the government seems pretty okay with this for whatever reason.

Back with HYDRA, they’re planning on beginning trials on starting a new peacekeeping team of operatives called Magpies meant to keep HYDRAs ever growing empire in check from defecting agents.

Follow Tony as HYDRA realizes he’s pretty fuckin likely to survive the Super Soldier operation and has the intellect to make a powerful Magpie. Also follow as Tony fights HYDRA, defects, tries to live his life as the real Tony Stark again, and then gets dragged back into the narrative when SHIELD wants to build the Avengers and Tony is one of their picks for whatever reason.

    Summary

For several months now, he had occasionally been overwhelmed by the feeling the Old Religion had made a terrible mistake in making him Emrys and must be regretting it. Now that he had killed the person Arthur loved the most, he had no doubt that Emrys should have been someone other than him. The only good thing about him was his magic, but, unfortunately for everyone, it seemed he never made the right choices when it came to using it: the more he tried to fix a situation, the worse it became…
He needed to put an end to all of this and manage to put his magic at Arthur's service while ensuring he was no longer the intermediary between the two. He had found a spell to do exactly that. It was probably a completely insane plan and certainly very dangerous, but… Merlin couldn’t help but wonder if this wasn’t ultimately what the prophecy wanted. After all, it had just been said that he would protect Arthur with his magic and allow him to fulfill his destiny, right? As long as his magic did the job, he didn’t really need to be there, did he?

    Summary

“Thank you, sir.” Peter turned facing M.J. and Ned’s silhouettes that wobbled against the rising sun.

“Call me Stephen,” Doctor Strange said.

Peter smiled, “Thank you, Stephen.” The name felt odd coming out of his mouth.

The laugh was slight, barely even one. “Still feels weird.” Stephen smiled; it was small and didn’t cause the edges of his eyes to crease.

    “I’ll see you around.”

The Magician stared at him, eyes mourning something already lost. “Good luck kid.”

Or: spider-man in gotham, just with identity.

    Summary

The Fates aren’t called the weavers for nothing. They create the tapestry of the universe and anchor every being in it, be it god or mortal, human or animal. But sometimes, even for them, it’s hard controlling certain things. Some yarns are stubborn beyond compare, trying to change their path, ripping through the fabric, or even daring to intertwine with others in a way that is not always predictable (or intended).

But never, ever before, since the creation of all that is, had there been two beings interwoven like this… forging a connection that transcended time and space, defying every logic and rule there ever was in their strive to be together. Calling each other, even across the centuries standing between them.

This is their story. Of loss and heartbreak, of war and death, but above all… about a love so great, not even time could keep them apart. It is about finding a person, a place, to call home. About how to defend it against ever foe and hardship.

And between Telemachus’ wit and Percy’s power, there is few that could even dream of standing in their way…
