He blinked at the ground for a moment. But as an echo of his dream remained in the back of his head, he found a very particular urge to seek out the Summoner. He had to know what he saw. In fact, he didn’t even really bother getting dressed, instead opting to just throw on a shirt before power-walking his way out his bedroom door and towards the Dining Hall.
…Surely someone there had to have seen the Summoner, right?

Summary
Since time immemorial, Liyue has been under the graceful protection of the Adepti. But in light of Rex Lapis' death, the land was left in the mortal hands of the Qixing, with the Adepti withdrawing and watching from afar as humanity thrives under the fruits of their Lord's labor.
...So why has it come to be disturbed now?
Ah, but even in death, the God of Contracts will not abandon his people. Not when incineration threatens their land. Not when friends of old have been roused from their gentle slumber, forced to awaken as bloodthirsty weapons for a demon who lurked deep in the shadows.
The winds of freedom had graced him as well. Coming from beyond the borders, descending in heavenly grace, the earth and sky would walk hand-in-hand towards salvation. Salvation that came in the form of a distant stargazer, a harbinger of humanity's future, guiding this darkened land back into the light.

Fun fact. I am going almost entirely unplanned into this and I still need to work on a model for what even is going on, but this idea has been bouncing in my head for too long and I need to get it out there. I really am riding like Zhongli does without his wallet.
