Puberty’s a hard time for everybody. Especially when you discover your secret superpowers that were suppressed for years, along with any strong emotion you could’ve had. Is it any surprise that teenage rebellion would ensue? Probably not.
Or Vanya forgets to take her pills one day and teenage hormones make her realize she has powers. Teenage rebellion ensues and she somehow stops the end of the world just by being herself. Also includes personal growth and underage drinking.
