Summary
Espio is happy that Silver's timeline has been changing for the better. However, it comes at a cost. Silver's memories of his friends from the past, including Espio, are slowly fading as memories from the new timelines are rewriting the old ones. While Silver may finally have a promising future, Espio has to come to terms with losing his connection to Silver, possibly forever.

3/30/25: Now that my health has finally been improving after getting the right treatments, I've been working hard to finally finish this fanfic. I already written ahead on a lot of the rest.

Summary
The news had spread to everyone relatively quickly.
Espio's mother had died. Tragically. She had gotten very ill and passed away in less than a week after getting sick. It was an illness that usually wasn’t deadly, but she had simply gotten unlucky. She died surrounded by people that cared about her, excluding Espio that is. He hadn’t made any effort to visit her and now she was gone.
Weird. He didn’t really care too much.
Or Espio avoids thinking about his mother.

Underrated fanfic that greatly tackles the concept of a character who highly values being athletic as an identity having to face a life changing disability. Good example of a story where there's a balance of the character gainging control of his life in a satisfying way while also being honest with the difficulties of facing such a disability.

Summary
