Brian was lying on an uncomfortable looking hospital bed.Tears were pricking in the corner of the drummers eyes.
He was afraid to take the musicians hand for fear of breaking it. Sure, he had always looked fragile and delicate, like the wind could knock him over, but never so fucking breakable.
As if it would only take a glance to shatter him to pieces all over the room.
Somehow seeing him like this, a thin hospital blanket over his lanky frame, clean of his stage make-up, unmoving, made his fears worse.
It made the danger he was in real.
