“We have to keep up the scam!” George whisper-yells. “What if she tries again?”
Dream feels the urge to laugh. George can be so, so stupid sometimes. “After that humiliation, nobody sane would try again. You’re still here.”
“But if I don’t act like we’re dating, she may try again,” George’s eyebrows furrow, like this is a real, serious issue that Dream isn’t taking with the importance it deserves. Something in Dream’s unimpressed face must cement these feelings, because his frown gets worse.
“That’s it. I’m going to be your fake boyfriend today.”
After lying about their relationship status, Dream and George must pretend to date as they walk around a Christmas fair.
They’re both very normal about this.

Gentle fingers reach and grab Dream’s cheeks in his hands, voice wobbly and choked out between sobs.
“You don’t get to say goodbye, Dream.” Cries rack through his entire body, shaking his shoulders while looking at his best friend. “I love you, okay? Don’t die, you can’t die, Dream. I love you. I love you always.” He’s not sure how much of what he’s saying is even intelligible through his cries.
“I love you.” He says again, leaning forward and kissing Dream’s lips for a long second. “I haven’t gotten to love you enough. Please, Dream.” His lips press against Dream’s once more.

“You know, my mother is going to London for a business trip next weekend and she said I could come along.” The blond said, just putting the information out there for now, but he had to admit that when Gogy didn’t immediately start typing again he got a little worried.
Once it became clear that Gogy wasn’t going to say anything Dream cleared his throat, following up his statement. “You know, since you live in London I thought we could maybe meet up or something."
Gogy had been his best friend for almost three years now, this trip could finally be the opportunity for them to open up to each other.
The lack of response made Dream think that it had been a stupid to bring it up. With Gogy being muted in the call there was no squeaking of a chair or quiet breathing to remind Dream that he wasn’t alone. And without the three dots indicating that Gogy was there; he was alone.
Or Dream is the son of the US president, after causing a scene at a charity event he is stuck pretending to be best friends with the heir to the british throne, what he doesn't know is that Prince George is his long time online best friend.
