Summary
Jimin closes his eyes and takes in the scent approaching. It’s warm, like sunshine after a rainstorm. It envelops him whole. What was once a scent that claimed Jimin, tied him to the alpha who owns it, and made him submit endlessly now brings him nothing but pain and longing. Longing for a feeling that is no longer there. A newfound emptiness Jimin didn’t know existed within him hits him like a truck.
Or, Jimin left his hometown five years ago to chase his dreams. He’s happy, successful and engaged. He thinks he finally has everything he’s ever wanted until a wedding brings him back home and he is forced to face the relationship and life he left behind. Maybe the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
