Can I just take a moment to relish in how beautifully this was written? How everything was threaded together in careful consideration to Alice in Wonderland themes, to actual character personalities, to the dialogues and portrayals… how it all connects into the conclusion that is this beautiful story. I’m so racked with emotion at how amazing this story is.
I think what really got to me was the overarching theme of acceptance. In the end, one’s own perception is what truly allows or prevents them from accepting right from wrong…
“It means that you shouldn’t let others dictate your sense of it. You are only late when you try to quantify time, but if you just let it exist in its natural state, you are neither late, nor early…you just are.” You just are!!!

Summary
Marinette never really wanted to be a superhero, for the record, but the choice wasn’t hers. And when she sees a car headed for Alya the day Stoneheart appears, that’s not a choice either—that’s a death sentence for a girl with no powers, just a phone and too much curiosity for her own good.
Marinette becomes Ladybug, and she moves.
In hindsight, Marinette supposes the car crushes her skull, her lungs—something like that. She thinks she remembers hitting the ground, but that could be wishful thinking, the desire for a sense of certainty that will always be out of reach. It doesn’t really matter, as much as she’d like to think so.
The bottom line is that on her first day on the job, Ladybug dies. And then she gets back up.

Summary

Such a wildly unique take on a split identity…the chaos ensued by Chat Noir tormenting Marinette during her day-to-day life is so funny since nobody but her can see or hear him! What’s even more hilarious is his apparent rivalry with himself, unknowing he is Adrien! Super silly fic, that made me cringe (in the best ways) and warmed my heart. Did stop at chapter 30 though! Perhaps I am just one for emotionally painful reveals…lighthearted ones don’t always do it for me
