Summary
Starting in 1982. Young Severus Snape isn't yet intensely bitter, and he's going to get the happy ending he deserves - there may be some things to take care of first, but he'll come to develop a new lease on life in a way that budding romance and being truly understood only can, and Headmaster Dumbledore might find that he is no longer so easily controlled.
