Summary
Karma can’t lie to himself as he glances up at Nagisa over the brim of his coffee cup. He’s completely smitten. Naturally, he thought that Nagisa was completely adorable when he first saw him, but that was just like - a fact of life - like taxes and death. That attraction only grew over time as Karma’s wandering eyes found more and more obscure details about Nagisa to privately fawn over.

Nagisa pops open the bottle while Karma scrolls through the TV guide. There’s still plenty of cash from their last job to keep this nice hotel room a while longer.
“Hey look, they’ve got Killing and Maiming III on here,” Karma says happily.
“Wow, lucky us.” Nagisa rolls his eyes.

Summary
Zombies. Everyone always talks in hypotheticals about what they would do in this kind of situation. He’s overheard plenty of lunchroom conversations about improvised weapons, where people would loot first, that sort of thing. Yet really being in it - really - somehow doesn’t feel real at all. What can someone like Nagisa do? He can’t fight. The only reason he’s lasted this long is by doing what he’s always done, and he can’t hide forever.
