Some people say that change is only a small part of a longer process. The part we usually define as the actual change might only be the very middle of the entire lengthy timespan.

Keith and Lance are training with the rest of the team in the training room, when they start arguing, as they have time and time again. This escalates until Shiro is forced to step in, and sends them on a mission to some obscure, freezing cold and dangerous planet in the middle of nowhere, the two of them on a team together. Of course, everything goes wrong, and they almost die, like a bajillion times, and are forced to be vulnerable with each other. Only then does change start to happen, whether Keith and Lance want it to or not.

Summary
Proceeding to have an existential crisis while your supposed rival is nestled happily between your thighs isn’t really an ideal situation to be in, is the conclusion that Lance comes to as he reflects on all that’s happened within the past few days following what he’s started referring to as, ‘the night everything got a whole lot more homoerotic than usual’.
But it’s the third night in a row that he finds himself in this exact same situation, and he’s starting to run out of excuses about why this keeps happening, or on how to explain what the fuck is even going on between them anymore.

Lance becomes determined to unveil the writer and find out a) what is his problem exactly and b) does he really think Lance's eyes are that blue?
