Summary
Tamlin never truly addressed the trauma and memories that have followed him since the aftermath of being Under the Mountain and fighting against King Hybern. When Tamlin extends shelter to Lilith, she agrees, realizing the Fae lands are far more dangerous than she anticipated. Lilith, while navigating through the Spring Court and Fae customs, realizes her own shifting perceptions and uses them to gain favor in the Court.
The pair, distrustful and wary of each other at first, learn from one another. Gaining a new insight into how their pasts have shaped their identities and relishing the changes marking their future. A future where forgiveness, love, compassion, and healing will never end.

Summary

G.C. Bird folded her lithe arms in front of her on the table.

Azriel bristled. “I’m sorry?”
“Yes, that’s how you should have started. But you didn’t, so I’m going to have to ask you to remove yourself from the line, or I will have you removed from it,” she sighed and batted her lashes, a great, bright smile painting her lips.
“Listen, I’m sorry, okay?” he muttered. “The book is for my sister-in-law. She loves your books, and my brother is counting on me to get this.”
“Well, then I guess you’ll have to explain to your brother that you couldn’t get this one little thing because you decided to be a colossal asshole.”
