Summary
“The buzz felt louder than the hammer this time, worming its way into his skull. Grian sighed, rubbing the heel of his hand across his forehead, already annoyed with himself for letting it get to him. It was only 9 a.m., but this had become a new, unwelcome routine. He’d specifically told that idiot he didn’t like good morning texts, and yet the stubborn rockstar never listened.”
After a reckless weekend that should’ve ended in silence, Grian and Jimmy find themselves caught in the quiet aftermath. While Grian buries himself in work, deadlines and self-imposed stress, Jimmy navigates the chaos of touring life—interviews, rehearsals, and the unshakable thought of a man who told him not to text.
As their worlds spin at different speeds, the hum of stage lights versus the glare of stadium spotlights, their connection lingers in teasing messages, late-night vulnerability, and laughter that feels dangerously close to affection. For now, it’s casual. For now, it’s enough.

Summary
“So, Grian,” Jimmy said, voice light across the table. “You said last night you weren’t there for us—for The Rejects. Were you there to support a friend? Or the opening band, Gem and the Scotts?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know,” he muttered, aiming for teasing, though heat crept up the tips of his ears. Why was Jimmy asking questions like that? Why did it feel so…personal?
“I do, actually,” Jimmy laughed, entirely unbothered, taking Grian’s comment as playful banter.
A rockstar, a reckless night, and a morning-after Grian didn’t plan for. Oops.

Summary
The sound of a stuttering snore snapped Grian out of his thoughts, and he glanced at Jimmy as he held his breath, wondering if the rockstar was about to wake. But then Jimmy’s breathing evened out again, chest rising and falling, bare skin striking against the sheets. Heat crept up Grian’s face before he could stop it. What was he thinking? Sure, Jimmy was handsome, beautiful even, but Grian didn’t care about things like that.
It was supposed to be simple: a night with a rockstar on tour. But now, sleepless and restless, Grian finds himself tangled in thoughts he never meant to have.

Summary
He stopped right in front of the guy, slightly breathless, eyeliner smudged in a way that worked more than it should have.
“You,” Jimmy said, pointing with two fingers. “You’re not here for us, are you?”
Grian blinked.
“Nope.”
Jimmy laughed, leaning in, voice low enough to cut beneath the roar behind them.
“Why don’t you come backstage with me?”
There was a pause. Grian kept his expression flat, doing his best to appear uninterested while his brain scrambled to make sense of what had just been asked. Surely this was a joke.
When the frontman of a popular band invites you backstage, can you really say no?
Grian had noticed Jimmy staring all night—but he never expected it to lead here.

Summary
It was supposed to be a one-night mistake—backstage chaos, a reckless choice, nothing more. But when Grian finds himself tangled in the orbit of Jimmy, the golden-voiced frontman of The Rejects, that one night becomes a dance neither of them knows how to end.
