Summary

Suddenly, he's acutely aware of Gillion's cool skin against his side, looping about his body, the horribly delicate webbing of a tail fin draped at his ankle. The casual physicality with which Chip approaches most people now snaps into a narrow focus that sends a new sort of heat crawling down his neck. A shoddily hidden giggle rings out from the other side of the room.
"What?" His voice is an octave too high to be anywhere near normal.
"Ah, you didn't hear me the first time," Gillion booms, so loud that the stone statues on the other side of the island can probably hear this awful conversation. "I, Gillion Tidestrider—"
"Shut up, shut up, shut up," Chip squawks as he slaps a frantic hand over Gillion's mouth.
OR: Chip and Gillion kiss in a tomb. Not long after, Chip and Aslana kiss on a beach. An unexpected appearance interrupts, tension ensues, alcohol flows, and conversations occur.

gillion didn’t miss the way chip’s nostrils flared, but chip only pressed his lips together, stepping closer to gillion, so he could finally, finally look at him like he was there, standing in front of him. “i’ll tell you what, gil. you’re really starting to get on my last nerve. call me a coward one more time, i dare you. i’m a lot of awful things, a liar, a cheater, but i’m damn well not a coward.”
barely breathing, gillion didn’t break his gaze. “then you’re selfish.” he spat. “the most dishonourable thing to be.”
aka gillion is basically cursed to have body dysmorphia and chip is the wicked wizard that everyone keeps talking about

Summary
It all started with a nightmare. Well, probably not started. Chip had definitely liked Gillion Tidestrider before the nightmare, but this, this one event, changed their relationship.
Chip woke up in a cold sweat that early, early morning. Everything in his head was swirling. He was hyperventilating. Darkness enveloped him although he knew he was on the Albatross. He sat up in his bed reliving the nightmare. He was on the Black Rose again. The image of his crew, his family, going overboard flashed in his mind. Why did it all go wrong? He clutched his chest where his heart lay and in his other hand his sheets. He needed someone. Anyone. Just to be there.OR
Chip has a nightmare and finds out he is in love with Gillion Tidestrider. What could go wrong?

Chip stays silent. His eyes widen slightly, but apart from that, Gillion can’t really tell what’s going on in his head.
“Like- Like, right now?” He asks, confused. He looks at the seashell, and back at Gillion. "With this music?"
