Summary
Desdemona 'Mona' Green was full of plans and hope for her future to come. In the last year of her GCSEs, she was prepared for the next steps of her education. As a foster child, she knew she had to make her own way in the world.
Of course, that was before monkeys decided to go insane and start infecting people.
With the help of her foster brother's notebook of zombie preparations and her own street-smarts, Mona shifted her priorities. At least now with the fall of the government, she didn't have to worry about earning a wage and buying a house when she could just find one and settle down. She just had to reach Scotland first as she dodged zombies, people going insane with a lack of laws in place, and potholes.
At least she didn't need to worry about exams anymore.
