Summary
You first meet Xavier during a mission, mistaking him for an injured person before you team up to fight off Luminivores, though he remains secretive and destroys the protocores your organization values. Your paths cross again in a deadly forest where he warns you of its dangers, and later on a subway train trapped in a time loop, where you work together to defeat a hidden Wanderer.
After Xavier joins the Wanderers’ Hunting Association, you persistently befriend him despite his disinterest, dragging him into activities like yoga, cooking, and skincare while he slowly grows accustomed to your touch. Your dynamic shifts when he admits he likes physical contact, leading him to stay close to you, shield you in crowds, and display subtle possessiveness—though he denies it. When you fall sick, Xavier takes care of you and insists on staying the night, and as you lay beside him, you realize you might like him more than you thought.
