Summary
When Nate said him and Eliot weren't friends, he didn't think to mean it diametrically to them maybe being enemies. When Eliot listened to him say just words, he didn't think to go for an artery. Neither man thought much about Dubenich building a bomb on his own, though.
(Which is why Eliot built his jobs' explosives himself, including "Dubenich's" bomb.)
Once Nate finally notices, Eliot goes for a metaphorical jugular. This is irritatingly less lethal than anyone planned and leaves more of a ticking timebomb. Such as: Everything happens for a reason.

If I only had one recommendation to give, this work would be it.
It recalls to mind the myth of sisyphus in a hyper-porn hyper-modern manner that needs to be read to still be beyond human understanding. Though it may engender in you an alien understanding. This work is genuinely transcendental, or anyhow: It at least establishes it's own whole realm of experience through the reading of it.
