Years after the Butcher's men caught up with him and he was saved by his uncle, Neil Hatford once again tries to start anew. However, his plans are thwarted when he coincidentally meets one Andrew Minyard as well as his family. Little could Neil know in how many ways this chance encounter would change his life.
A captivating take on what could have happened had Neil not come to Palmetto. With a lot of whit, the author recounts a what-if that is as beautiful as it is painful. Defenitly worth a read.

Throughout the steady flow of the story, we get to see how the relationship between Lin Ronghu and Jing Fengchu, as well as the scheme surrounding them, slowly but steadily progresses - until, suddenly, something clicks into place.
"The Fox's Grief" is a work written with astonishing accuracy and preciseness. Every word seems to fit perfectly to the next, bringing an adequate and balanced world into existence. A mesmerizing piece within story-tellings.
