"Dada!" Chan squeaked on instinct—then immediately shrank back, guilt flashing like a neon sign across his face.
Jisung blinked. "Well, that's not your usual running-hug greeting." He glanced between his wife and son as he set the bags down. "Did I miss something?"

“I’m so sorry,” Minho's voice was thick with tears, though they had yet to fall, “I have a stupid question. I know you’re mostly a food store, but I had a family emergency and I have to fly back to Korea, I have to be at the airport in an hour, and I don’t have anyone to take care of my babies and I don’t know what to do, I don’t have enough time to find someone and if I miss this flight my mom will kill me, but I can’t take the cats with me and I can’t leave them behind and Felix is out of town and I just don’t know what to do.” He drew in a jagged breath, his shoulders slumped and his gaze downward, “Do you pet sit? Do you know anyone who pet sits and would be able to come meet them in the next ten or twenty minutes? I know it’s a crazy question, but I just…I don’t know what to do.”
“Hey,” Chan rounded the counter, dropping a supportive hand onto Minho’s shoulders. “It’ll be okay. We’ll figure something out. Just take a deep breath.”
“I can do it.”
Jisung wasn’t sure who was more surprised by the words that left his mouth, himself or Chan.

Summary
Jisung is constantly stressed. Over several weeks he hasn’t been himself. And all that just because of that stupid, fucking, meaningless letter! He hasn’t told anyone about it. Why should he do that? It’s not like anyone would care. Instead he acts as normal as possible. Everything was fine, he was fine! At least he tries to convince himself of that. This works out rather nicely until everything gets worse.
OR
Minho watches Jisung become a shadow of himself and can’t figure out why. Everything becomes an even bigger mess when Jisung falls on stage and injuries himself seriously.
