So i found this old Wattpad story in my drafts and never posted it, so here, and the story was before the Season 2b thing was more traumatizing.
AU explanation:
- Hunter has siblings (aka. two grimwalkers who remained and have different names)
- Alex (Belos brother) is alive and well but he has the two other 'grimwalkers' with him and lives somewhere else
- Belos is a good parent but an almost failed one due to his curse
- Hunter has Belos curse too, but he doesn't need palismen or palistron wood and can easily control it unlike Belos
- Due to Hunter's curse, he can shape-shift and fly, he can take anyones form if he likes
(Hunter still has no actual 'witch magic' because of this)- Ed' and Em' raised Amity as, their parents never took care of them, and were always busy
- Hunter goes to live with his other Uncle and brothers sometimes if he's to stressed
- Belos is fine with Flapjack/Rascal since its Alex's palismen that passed down onto Hunter and keeps them both happy, but stays away from the little palismen and them due to the curse.
- Luz, Eda and King did meet Hunter in his Golden Guard disguise but have never seen his face of heard him talk

D-16 has always liked to read about their species young. How to care for them, what they liked, how they acted so different from grown mecha because sparklings were small, a future promise, and in time they would grow. Because cogged mecha could grow. Unlike them.
So D-16 liked to read about sparklings, and see them in the streets on the rare occasion that happened, playing with their carriers with such joy and freedom he couldn’t help but bask in the foreign happiness of something he would never experience. To envy from afar that type of love and blind trust none of them would ever know. Something they would never have. Something he should have never wished for.
But then again, they should have never entered the Iacon 5000.
And they should have never found a sparkling in the dumpster.
