Hongjoong turns his arm toward himself and sees that the cut has been completely healed. There was still blood that had dripped on the floor, none of it consumed. It truly had only done that to show it was harmless, spent its last precious reserves of energy just so Hongjoong might not attack it anymore.
God fucking damn it. They were completely fucking sentient and the witch truly had no clue what they could be even with all his years on the job.
Hongjoong groans. He could not hand them over like that to the association.
“Hey,” Hongjoong directed his words toward the being now. “Would you like some help?"

Summary
There’s a wild animal in Seonghwa's apartment. It rattles around at night, nibbles on snacks. It does have the decency to take out the trash pretty often, and doesn't make a lot of noise. Sometimes Seonghwa wonders if the animal has left, or if it’s alive at all, but then he hears a cough, a sneeze or a curse as it stumbles in the dark, and there's a small wave of relief that washes over him.

Jeongin lifts an eyebrow. “I very clearly remember something about you and Chan signing marriage papers not too long ago.”
“And pack alphas and pack betas are basically like parents of the pack”, Changbin joins in, “so it would make sense to assume they’re also dating each other.”
Jisung huffs. “We’ve had a lot to do. And he’s still one of my closest friends, even if we’re not dating!”
“But do you want to be?” Jeongin counters, and Jisung pauses. “Because if you do, you could just ask him, you know. He literally gives you heart eyes. The only reason you’re not already together is because no one asked yet.”
