”Sorry, I’m just a little tired. I really need this day off, huh?” Newt quickly defended his lack of answers.”apparently so. Just don’t burn yourself out for us. Accidents happens so easily around here, you should see how often one of these shanks in the kitchen have to visit the med jacks just because the had a bad nights sleep.”
”Good that. Sorry Fry, have to see the other runners off,” Newt said as he got up and took his breakfast in one hand. He needed to get away before he slipped up.
One last glance at the other boy and he plastered on a fake smile for effect. Going from Frypans reaction, it was a pretty darn good one too.
”No worries, I’ll save you some lunch if you get hold up by Something!” Frypan yelled after him.
”Thanks!”
Oh, I’ll be busy alright. You just don’t have to waste food on me anymore.

This is a reading the books fanfic, where the survivors from the safe heaven ( bout when they find Newts journal)and some dead friends and some less friendly people, find themselves in the glade with the Gladers right after Thomas and Teresa has arrived in the glade. And now they have to read books about the future and past. my first fanfic so I’m not sure if this will be good, but I’m hoping.
