Summary
During the Fall of Reach, a UNSC Army Special Forces Unit within the 212th Airborne Division is tasked with delivering a Slipspace Drive turned Bomb to a Covenant SDV-class Heavy Corvette for Operation: UPPERCUT. GHOST Squad is forced to remain aboard after their Pelican is damaged in a firefight with the Covenant.
Instead of dying like they thought they would, the four GHOST Squad Operatives leave Slipspace in the Mass Effect Universe.
With no UNSC and no UEG to defend, and no way to contact either, GHOST Squad decides to do what they do best, fight.

King Robert I Baratheon had a mountain of regrets in his final moments. It took dying to lift the veil from his eyes so he could really see what he had become. He did not know what to expect of the afterlife, but he most certainly did not think he would be charged by the gods, old and new, to go back and fix the mess he had created and to prepare the coming darkness.
