That night as Jaime was arrested and would be led away to the holding cell, Brienne tried her best to ignore him. She took great pains to file a comprehensive report even knowing he was only four desks away from her. She agonized over being as honest as she could about the notorious Golden Lion and her role in his capture. As she worked, keeping her eyes down, Jaime sat handcuffed in the main offices, his eyes never leaving her face. It had taken all her strength not to look at him knowing that’s exactly what he wanted her to do. Jon had done what he could to shield her, but there was only so much he could do.
Takes place immediately after Start At The Break. I would say you need to read that one first to understand completely, but everything will get explained as this part goes on
