Rachel always expected to run into Jesse in New York—at an audition, a show, maybe even a tiny music store. What she didn’t expect was to find him enrolled at NYADA, with a class schedule nearly identical to hers. So what if their duets still held a little too much feeling beneath the surface?
They can be friends… right?
OR: St. Berry prioritizes friendship and learn that denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

Summary
Rachel was not a fan of misogyny. Not at all. So Finn's assumption that she would just fall back because he was great and she was just lucky--it grated on her.
After singing her heart out, she goes to a music store out of the way, to clear her head. She runs into a certain Vocal Adrenaline lead, and even with her suspicions, she can't help but feel at home with him.
Fix-it fic in which Rachel isn't quite a pushover, Jesse catches feelings a lot earlier than he should, and The Glee Club Ultimatum doesn't go quite as planned.

Summary
Jesse took the job from Shelby never expecting to fall for Rachel. Now, he has to protect her as everyone around her tries their best to destroy the girl he has come to love.
I know Jesse's character existed on a part time basis because of Jonathan, but I always felt like he could've been such a great ally for her and he would've treated her better than anyone she dated. Thus, my fiction was born.
