Summary
At age seventeen, Stanley Pines disappeared. He'd been fading in and out since childhood, but once he'd been kicked out, he'd become completely invisible. Alone at first, Stan eventually finds others like him and through the years they help him as he helps them. Then Ford stumbles back into his life and onto his potato sprouts bringing a glimmer of hope.

It wasn’t the right question. It wasn’t what he wanted to say. In fact, everything unfamiliar was within him at that moment. Like a part of him had just seen that angle in a prism, where everything came into sharp focus at once—cyan, fuschia, yellow, orange, green. It was a lot.
“Hey,” Robin said softly, because she knew him. She knew him. “Look at me. Yeah, it’s okay, look at me, Steve-o. Tell me… Would you?”
