Helia gently tugs down Coralie’s neckline, and brushes her fingertips against where the scar would be. It makes Coralie feel more reassured, somehow, than when she had done the same just before. So she doesn’t mind when Helia’s hand seems to linger there. She’s in a haze when that hand slowly travels up to cup her cheek.
Helia starts. “Um, I…”
Coralie snaps out of it and lifts her head to meet Helia’s gaze. She’s surprised by the intensity she finds there. Helia’s hand follows the upwards movement of her face, thumb stroking over her cheekbone. Her eyes keep darting over to her lips, intent obvious. “Can I please…”

Helia can't sleep the night after she logs out of the system after having acquired the Planar Armament Warped Spacetime battlesuit, and does the only thing she can think that would help her calm down after everything she'd experienced in the last 3 days.
This is set after the conclusion of Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 Chapter 9, If Destiny Concludes Today. I finished reading the chapter and woke up out of a fugue state hours afterwards and discovered this had been written. Thank god.

“Hua,” Himeko says, and something in her tone already sets Kiana on edge. “Do you wanna know what happened while you were gone?”
“No, don’t!” Kiana cries, but Himeko is already barreling through her story.
“Kiana has a secret admirer,” Himeko says eagerly. “And whoever it is has it baddd.”
Hua drops a piece of shrimp in shock, and she gapes at Himeko. Kiana is slightly offended by her reaction, because her having a secret admirer isn't that hard to believe.

Or, when anonymous love letters find their way to Kiana, she crosses her fingers and hopes they're from a certain special someone.
